As part of the ~Flow project development, the team collaborated with the The Climate Change Schools Project(CCSP) to devise a design challenge for schools involved in the programme.
Each school developed a design contraption that responded to the River Tyne, thinking about how mechanical or electronic sensors can respond to the environmental activity, detecting variables such as water flow, pollution or water quality etc.
The four schools who took part in The ~Flow Challenge are:
Bydales School, Redcar
Kenton School, Newcastle upon Tyne
King Edward VI School, Morpeth
St Hild’s School, Hartlepool
