Where Are The Wild Ones is a fantastic celebration of an extraordinary animal and the myths that surround it. A multilayered acoustic and visual performance inspired by the incredible and mysterious annual journey of the Atlantic salmon from Greenland to the River Tyne.
The stunning new performance created by artists Laura Harrington and Kaffe Matthews was based on the real sounds of their watery world and journeys, in a creative collaboration which featured stories created by Northumberland and Tyneside children.
The research and development for Where Are The Wild Ones? was supported by Environment Agency North East, ISIS Arts and Arts Council England and the performance formed part of The Bridges Festival.
