Experimenting with cranks and cams. Thinking of using something like this to sample water from the river. Also experimenting using wooden pegs to connect things without using screws or glue.

Experimenting with cranks and cams. Thinking of using something like this to sample water from the river. Also experimenting using wooden pegs to connect things without using screws or glue.

This is an escapement drive mechanism, used in clocks transforms backwards and forwards motion to rotary motion, but will always go in the same direction, useful for our bidirectional tidal drive
